Enclosed multicolor — at a hard-to-believe price
The Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 (Combo) is a fully-enclosed CoreXY FDM printer with a metal frame and glass door — plus an integrated 4-color CANVAS filament system. With a 350°C nozzle, 500mm/s speed and an AI camera, it prints clean PLA/PETG right out of the box and opens up multicolor. The shocker is the ~$449 price for the whole combo — putting enclosed multicolor printing within everyone's reach.

Great out of the box
PLA and PETG come out clean, consistent and quick with almost no tuning; the screen and camera are both upgraded over the first generation.
Where it's not yet optimal
No machine is perfect — here are the trade-offs worth knowing before you buy, so the Carbon 2 fits your needs.
Multicolor still wastes & slows
Multicolor through one nozzle always creates purge waste on color changes and adds a lot of time. If you truly need lots of color, weigh the filament and time cost.
Software/connectivity is inconsistent
The hardware is on point, but Elegoo Slicer and the Matrix app can be inconsistent to connect — the software experience still needs polish.
Mid-size, heavy, passive chamber
The 256³ volume is moderate and the machine is fairly heavy (~17.65kg), so it needs a solid spot. It's enclosed but not actively heated, so the hardest materials (large PC/nylon) are still more limited than on a heated-chamber machine.
